It appears when attempting to connect to a remote PC.

Possible causes: 

This error might occur if Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service is stopped or disabled at remote PC under Windows Vista or higher.

How to eliminate: 

To start the service, proceed as follows: 

  1. Select Windows Firewall item in Control Panel. Then select Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall.
  2. Click Change Settings and enable Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) option.

0x000004B3 No network provider accepted the given network path

It appears when attempting to connect to a remote PC.

Possible causes:

The remote PC is not available in the network.

How to eliminate:

Check the network connection parameters.

0x80070005 Access is denied or The network path is not accessible. Access is denied

When attempting to connect to a computer.

Possible causes:

  1. The user account utilized to run the Indeed-Id GetLog does not have privileges to read or modify the Windows registry branch that contains logging parameters.
  2. The user does not have privileges to write to log folder.

How to eliminate:

Solution 1:

Grant the user account the necessary privileges for the registry branch:

  1. Open Registry Editor and expand the 

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Indeed-Id branch.
  2. Select Logging node, right-click to open the context menu and select Permissions item in that menu.
  3. In the Permissions for Logging dialogue, click Add and select the required account.
  4. Grant the Full Control and Read privileges to that account.
  5. Click Apply to save the changes. The user has to log out from the system and then log in again for the changer in access rights to become effective.

Solution 2: 

Grant the user account the necessary privileges for the required folder.

0x80070035 The network path was not found

It appears when attempting to store log files.

Possible causes:

The network folder used to access log files is not available (the ADMIN$\System32\LogFiles folder is used by default).

How to eliminate:

Check the access parameters of the network folder.

0x80070003 The system cannot find the file specified

It appears when attempting to store log files.

Possible causes:

The path to network folder is not correct.

How to eliminate:

Define the path to the network folder correctly.
