Initialization parameters, set up in Indeed Certificate Manager interface (requirements to password length and complexity, number of input attempts etc.) are stored on the smart card until the next initialization. Initialization parameter set depends on smart card manufacturer and model.
To set up initialization, click Add initialization parameters and select the card type.
After clicking OK you go to the list of initialization parameters that can be changed for the selected card type. Define initialization parameters and click Add to save changes.

If there are no initialization parameters defined in the policy, default values are used for any card being issued, when initialization is enabled (see Card types management).
